Thomas Alfred Lamb, ( Coach Driver) born abt. 1835 Islington District, Middlesex, England. son of Samuel Lamb (Grocer). Married Matilda Maria Field, April 16, 1862 in West Ham, Essex County, England. Matilda Field was born April 16, 1842 in Newbury, Berkshire, England. They had 3 children Frederick, Samuel and Thomas. Thomas, Matilda’s husband, died Sept. 1870 of smallpox in Bethnal Green, England.  Matilda remarried to a John Kesby, April 4 1871 in Bethnal Green, Greater London, England.  They all immigrated to Canada in 1874. they settled in the Whitby area, Con 4 Lot 21 Darlington Twp, .  In about 1891 Frederick,  Samuel and mother Matilda came to Mara Twp. moving to  Lot 14 Con 6 Mara ..Thomas went to Rochester, New York. Samuel in about 1924 bought Lot 7 Con. 5 Mara and Lot 10 Con. 5  , Samuel married Bridget Anne “Annie” Derrick February 8th 1898 . Frederick W(1864-1932). married Harriet Winnifred “Winnie” Bailey(1886 England-1936) in November 11, 1905 at Udney She was a British Home Child, as a servant for Matilda since 1897.   Matilda passed away Feb. 18 1907, at age 64 yrs. old. She was buried at Udney Union Cemetery. as well as both Winnfred and Frederick W. There is no Memorial stone for either. John Kesby died March 15, 1893. (Not sure where died and Buried)
