What is my best option for getting information about visiting the Ramara district. I am especially interested in Brechin and Orillia and then down towards Peterborough. Where would the archives be? Do small towns have them? I would like to plan a trip for this summer.

Visiting Ramara
Hi Linda
Which Donnellys are you looking for .There is only one left of the 1930"s generation and one Donnelly researcher that I know of.. I know where the original Donnelly homestead is in Carden Township and can get you GPS coordinates in the Spring --I presume you looked up those names on this site

RE: Visiting Ramara
My computer crashed so I was slow to answer. Pat Donnelly was my immigrant ancestor. I will be comming to Ontario at the end of July and look forward to seeing the area
