Hugh Vincent Corrigan, a son of Hugh Corrigan & Catherine Neilis, worked for the RR in Uptergrove, then about 1915 relocated to Uxbridge, where he continued to work for the railroad until his retirement.

William Corrigan 1623-1876 born and died in Mara had 12 children-6 of the sons ended up in the USA most of Curly Bill's family left Mara in the 1880's and arrived in Wisconsin near Eau Claire. All of the men got involved in the newly opening logging operations of the midwestern USA Hugh b1862 (left back row in pic) James b 1870 -he ended up in Washington State(middle back row) Henry b1872 he ended up in Washington State(right back row) Patrick b1860 (front-left) Michael b1855 (front-right) the photo was taken around 1900- the 5 brothers were in Wisconsin when the pic was taken. Henry Joseph 'HANK' CORRIGAN, (1873-1918) is the youngest child of William "Curly Bill' Corrigan and Mary McCann. Shortly after his birth in Mara Twp., the family relocated to the USA. Hank is buried in Centralia, WA., where he worked a logger. His wife Josephine Campo, and daughter Florence are buried in Tacoma Washington.

Thomas married Ellen Ferguson of Mara twp., in 1877, they had four children in Mara before the relocated to Wisconsin. Rose Elizabeth Corrigan, a daughter of Micahel Corrigan and Rose Nugent, married Aaron Emes, in North Gwillimbury. in 1850, they had 11 chidren. In the early 1880's they relocated to the Winnipeg area with most of their children. Rose Elizabeth, was known as Rosanna, to her freinds and family. She died in Winnipeg, in 1990.

Sarah was a daughter of Michael Corrigan and Rose Nugent. Born in Mara in 1843. She married Andrew Patterson Prince, in 1863. Shortly after the birth of their first child in 1864, they moved to Wisconsin, USA, where they had 8 more children. They lived in Cook's Valley, Wisconsin, for forty five years. Sarah died in 1913, at the age of 70.

Hugh was a son of Michael Corrigan & Rose Nugent. He married Catherine Neilis, in 1850. Their homestead was Con. 7, lot 19 where they raised 12 children, Thomas, Mary, Michael, William, Arthur, Roseanna, John, Susan, Margaret, Catherine, Hugh Vincent , & Annie (Nancy)

Margaret was a daughter of Michael Corrigan & Rose Nugent. In 1857 she married Peter Prince of Mara, they had two children, and about 1866 the family moved to Eau Claire, Wisconsin. In 1886, the family moved again, this time to Calgary, Alberta, where Peter ran the Eau Claire Lumber Mill, and later the Calgary Water & Power Co. Margaret died in Calgary in 1898, her former house is now a Hertige Musuem in Calgary.

Daughter of Michael Corrigan & Rose Nugent- she was baptized Mary Ann, but went by Nancy. She married Patrick Duffy,in 1841,they raised 11 children in Mara, and in 1879, they relocated to Wisconsin, USA, where most of their children had moved to.
