CARRICK, Agnes -- At the Newmaket Nursing Home on Wednesday Jun 19th, 1974. Agnes McDonald, Beloved wife of the late Nathaniel Carrick in her 93rd year. Dear mother of Russell, Margaret (Mrs. Stanley Craig) and Jessie (Mrs. Sid Davy) of Washago, Grace (Mrs. Lary Mullen) of Severn Bridge, Alma (Mrs. Orville Leatherdale) of Orillia, Donald of Rathburn, Charles of Tottenham, Velma (Mrs. Walter Cleaveley) of Forest Home, Clayton of Gravenhurst and Joseph Prdeceased. Loving grandmother of 59 grandchildren, 110 great-grandchildren and 9 great great-grandchildren. The late Mrs. Agnes Carrick will be resting at the Doolittle Funeral Home until Saturday morning, June 22. Then to St. Joseph's Church, Washago for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Intermoent Union Cemetery, Ramona. Friends will meet at the funeral home for prayers Friday evening at 8:30 p.m.

AGNES CHRISTINE CARRICK
Rev. M. Belanger conducted a recent funeral service held at the Doolittle Funeral Home for Agnes Christine Carrick of Newmarket Nursing Home.
Interment followed at Ramona Union Cemetery in Cooper's Falls. Pallbearers were six grandsons, Orville Morrison, William Gibson, Alex Davy, George Carrick, Russell Cleaveley and James Leatherdayle (sic).
Mrs. Carrick, 92, formerly of Gravenhurst died June 19 at the Newmarket Nursing Home. Born May 1, 1882 (sic) in Rama Township, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Hannah McDonald.
She cooked for the lumbermen who worked at her father-in-laws mill, Carrick's Lumber and Shingle Mills, on the Black River, assisted in times of illness in the area, and acted as a nurse at the arrival of many new babies. Early in her life, she worked at summer tourist resorts on Sparrow Lake.
Mrs. Carrick was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Black River, and later belonged to St. Francis Catholic Church at Washago.
She was predeceased by her husband, the late Nathaniel James Carrick, whom she married on January 13, 1901, a son, Joseph, four sisters, Mary (Mrs. Jack McDonald), Jennie (Mrs. D. A. McDonald), Margaret (Mrs. John McDonald), Miss Jessie McDonald); and an infant brother.
Surviving Mrs. Carrick are four sons, Russell of Washago, Donald of Rathburn, Charles of Totteham and Clayton of Gravenhurst, six daughter, Jessie (Mrs. Sid Davy) and Margaret (Mrs. Stan Craig) of Washago, Grace (Mrs. Albert Cox) and Hazel (Mrs. L. Mullen) of Severn Bridge, Alma (Mrs Orville Leatherdale) of Orillia and Velma (Mrs. Walter Cleaveley of Forest Home; 59 grandchildren, 110 greatgrandchildren and 9 great greatgrandchildren.
