Obituary?Clarence Raymer
With LAST POST sounding the grave in Prospect Cemetery, the remains of the late Clarence Raymer, who died as a result of being struck by a motor vehicle, was laid to rest.
The late Mr. Raymer who originally from Orillia, severed overseas with the 1st Battalion, and was boarding at the time of his death with Mrs. J.H. Gordon at 700 Bathurst St.
The service from A.W. Miles funeral chapel, 30 St. Clair Ave. west was conducted by Rev. E. Crossley Hunter B.A. Pastor of Carlton Street United Church, the House of Friendship.
The pallbearers were friends from the boarding house, Messrs. Caird, Perry, Torrence , and Gordon, also relative James Marley and close friend Archibald Robinson.
The principal mourners were his parents Mr. and Mrs. Peter Raymer, a sister Mrs. F. Miller and brother James Raymer of Long Branch.
