      3. In 1889 he married Jessie McNabb in the Prebyterian Church in Stayner, Ontario.
      4. In 1891, 1901 and 1911 James resided in Vespra Township, Simcoe County, Ontario.
      5. James died of gangrene in the right foot as a result of frostbite. He had suffered from the injury for 5 months.
      6. At the time of his death James was living at Lot 1, Concession12, Sunnidale Township, Simcoe County, Ontario.
      7. James was buried in Stayner Union Cemetery, Stayner, Simcoe County, Ontario.
