  Bernard died at the age of 22, he was a Sergeant in the Royal Canadian Air Force, assigned to the Royal New Zealand Air Force, 487th Squadron. Tier mission was to do day time bombing raids over the Netherlands. Bernard's name appears on the Taber, AB, cenotaph-- to honour his sacrifice for our nation- lest we forget.
