Notes - Edward Emigrated to the USA, in the1890's. the 1900 US Census indicates he was in the US army, on a Military and Noval Base, Baar Camarines, Philippine Islands, his unit was involved in the Philippine Isurrection. On Sept 1, 1901 he enlisted in the 28th Infantry of the US Armyin Minneapolis, and was discharged 1 Sept 1904 as a Private, his unit was involved in the Spanish American War. Again in 1913 he enlisted in the US Army. where he remained until June of 1922. He held the rank of Sergeant of the Machine Gun Company of the 35th Infantry.
