- In charm and simplicity was the wedding Saturday morning of Miss Margaret Brunner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis (sic) Brunner, to Walter Corrigan, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Corrigan. The ceremony took place at the Sacred Heart church with Rev. Father Ryan officiating.
The bride was attended by Miss Bertha Brunner and Miss Marie Brunner. The groom has as best man a brother, Harry Corrigan, and Henry Schumok was the usher. Preceding the wedding march, Mrs. Fred Balcouer sang a group of hymns, accompanied by Miss Mary Casmier who also played the wedding march. Immediately following the ceremony, a wedding breakfast was served for the bridal party at the home of the bride\'s family. A formal reception was held at the home in the evening.
The bride\'s gown was of white organdie and her veil of tulle and lace. She carried a prayer book with a cascade of bride\'s roses falling gracefully from the cover. Miss Marie Brunner, was gowned in a frock of blue chiffon and carried cala lilies. Miss Bertha Brunner wore yellow taffeta and carried a bouquet of snapdragons. The young couple will be at home at East 34th and L sts.
