Everett L. Miners
September 22, 1913 - October 16, 2003
Everett L. Miners September 22, 1913 October 16, 2003 _ Ev was born, raised and U. of S. educated (Bachelor Civil Engineering) in Saskatoon. He is survived by his loving wife Mildred of 64 years; by five children: Rodger, Stephen(and Sandra), Pauline Hampson, Gwen(and Dale) Wuschke, Arthur(and Susan), and also by Marie Miners; and by ten grandchildren: Rob(and Karen) Miners, Rick(and Jacinthe) Miners, Karen(and Chris) McDonald; Charissa (and Jason) Shine, Rayne (and Menno) Braam; Kathy (and Cam) Bottrill, Bruce (and Elaine Hampson); Maria, Tobi and Jeremy Wuschke; and by eight great grandchildren: Anais Miners; Brooke, Chase, Kallum, and Jack McDonald; Kelsey, Emma, and Aaron Hampson. Ev is also survived by one brother, Ken (and Joan) Miners, but all his other sibblings: Harold, Veta, Luella, and Shirley predeceased him. Ev was blessed to have his wife and all his children present to celebrate his 90th birthday and he reaped the love and time he'd sown into their lives; he even had all his faculties to the end which enhanced his appreciation of it. The Lord allowed Ev to also celebrate their 64th wedding anniversary and Mildred's 88 birthday before going to be with the Lord from his own home. Mildred and the family desire to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the tremendous services provided by DVA, Home Care, Community Services, Blue Cross, Nordon Medical, Martens Warman Funeral Home, as well as to the numerous Brothers and Sisters in Christ that kept us lifted in prayer. A memorial service will be held at Grace Westminister United Church on Thursday, October 23rd at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Darryl Woods officiating. Refreshments will be served immediately following the service. If you'd prefer making a donation Gideon's Bibles or the charity of your choice would be most suitable.
