DEATH Of MRS. McCLEOD
The peaceful home of Rev. Angus
MeLeod was saddened Wednesday bv
the death of his aged companion, Mrs.
McLeod. The demise came unexpect-
ed as the wife and mother was only
sick a few days.
Mrs. McLeod was born in Canada
in 1839, and was united in marriage to
her mourning husband 42 years ago.
About 20 years ago they came to
Greenleaf where they have resided
since. She survived by her hus-
band and eight children. W.J. Mc-
Leod, the eldest son, lives at Little
Reek, Ark.. Donald in ldaho, Mrs. T.
J. Baldin in New York and Mrs. C.
McCaIlum, Anna the youngest daugh-
ter, Duncan, Angus and N. M. Mc-
Leod reside in Greenleaf township.
The funeral will be held at Green-
leaf Presbyterian church tomorrow,
Rev. Smith of Ubly officiating. The
interment takes place in Elkland cem-
etery.
