Irvine of Loveland. Passed away peacefully at Hospice of Southwest Ohio on August 11, 2016 at the age of 97. He was married for 60 Years to the late Catherine (nee Flannery) Morris. He is survived by his children, Richard C. Morris (Heidi) of Zionsville, IN, Valleri Hoefer (Carl Horsley) of Loveland, Graham Bell (Maggie) of UK, Malcolm Bell of UK and the late Jeffrey Morris. Dear grandfather of Ryan Hoefer, Caitlin Morris and Andrew Bell. Survived by many nieces and nephews in England and Canada. Memorial services will be held on Friday, August 19 at 11 AM at the Loveland United Methodist Church with a luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Irvine may be directed to Loveland United Methodist Church Memorial Fund. www.tuftsschildmeyer.com

Irvine Harvey Morris, age 97, a resident of Loveland, Ohio, passed away peacefully at Hospice of Southwest Ohio on Thursday, August 11, 2016. He was born in Uxbridge, Ontario, Canada on September 14, 1918 to Richard and Cecelia (Snodden) Morris. He was married for 60 years to the late Catherine (Flannery) Morris, formerly of Rotherham, England. Irvine proudly served in the Canadian Army during World War II and was engaged in the European theatre from early 1940 until late 1945. He was a member of both the Canadian Legion and the American Legion. Irvine was a graduate of the University of Toronto where he obtained a BS degree in Ceramic Engineering. He immigrated to Cleveland, Ohio in 1953 and then relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio in 1958 where he was employed at Ferro Corporation and Shepherd Chemical Company respectively. In 1972 he started his own trucking business and operated that until retiring in 1984. He returned to Canada in 1984 and then, in 2000, returned to the U. S. He loved his independence and led an active life until recently. He volunteered regularly at Bethesda North Hospital and was an active member of Loveland United Methodist Church. Irvine was a wonderful and kind husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend to all. He lived life fully and inspired many with his achievements, love of family, and devotion to country and community. He is survived by his children Richard C. Morris (Heidi) of Zionsville, IN, Valleri Anne Hoefer (Carl Horsley) of Loveland, OH, Graham Bell (Maggie Goodyear) (U.K.) and Malcolm Bell (U.K.); three grandchildren: Ryan Hoefer (Lisa), Caitlin Morris and Andrew Bell, and many nieces, nephews and relatives in Canada and England. He was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Allan Morris. A public memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on August 19, 2016 at the Loveland United Methodist Church 10975 S. Lebanon Rd. A luncheon will be provided immediately after the service. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Loveland United Methodist Church (attention Memorial Fund) where Irvine spent many joyful Sunday mornings in worship.
