    • John was WW1 Veteran- MULHERN, John : regimental number 703575, enlisted in the 102nd (North British Columbians) Battalion, Feb. 4, 1916, in Prince Rupert, B.C. . He was single, 26, a Motor Engineer, living in British Columbia. Born in Mara, in 1889, the eldest son of John T. Mulhern & Annie Lundy. The family remained in Mara until after 1911, when John enlisted, his mother was living in Pasqua , Saskatchewan.

      John lived most of his adult life in Prince Rupert, B.C where he was fisherman and handyman.
