QUAY 3 Died in Wright County, MN of a severe asthma attack. There is a notation found with her death record:
"In re cause of death of Mary J. Gunther:
Bronchial (Asthma). The deceased was moribund when I called to see her. She died about 40 minutes after I was called to see her. Members of the family told me that she had suffered from bronchial asthma for 30 years. She lived with a daughter and son-in-law, a chiropractor who came here from the Twin Cities lately. He said he had never treated her for the condition. I was called in so as to be in a position to sign a death certificate, it seemed to me. (Signed) O.L. Peterson, MD 5-25-26"
