      DENNE James Leslie - Unexpectedly at his home on Friday, August 1, 2003, James Denne of Brantford; beloved husband of Edith (nee Young), in his 80th year. James will be dearly missed by his children Randy and Judy Denne, both of Brantford and by his sisters Evelyn McEdwards and Emily Shelswell, both of Sault Ste. Marie; predeceased by his brothers Archie and Roy Denne and his sister Elizabeth Grigg. James Denne was a dedicated employee of Harding Carpets, where he worked for 30 years before retiring in 1988. The Denne Family will receive friends at the McCLEISTER FUNERAL HOME, NORTH CHAPEL, 495 Park Road North, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. Funeral service in the chapel on Tuesday at 10 a. m. with the Reverend Dr. Barry Pridham of Sydenham Street United Church officiating. Interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind or the Canadian Diabetes Association greatly appreciated
