Uptergrove- Sept. 7,-- The death of Aaron Drake, occurred at his home here on Thursday, September 2. Deceased had been suffering from heart trouble for some years but was not confined to his room, so that the news of his death came as a shock to his many friends. The late Mr. Drake was born at Point Mara, in 1858 and about thirty-five years ago was married to Annie Mulhearn, Brechin. Besides his widow, four daughters and one son survive, Mrs. Jno. Lamb, Warminster, Mrs. Arthur Donnelly, Brechin, Mrs. J. Clithero, Uptergrove, Mrs. Maloney, Carden and Philip Drake, Warminster. The funeral was held from his late residence to St. Columbkills?(sic) church, on Saturday morning, where Requiem High Mass was celebrated by Rev. Father Harrison. Interment was made at St. Columbkills? (sic) cemetery, the pallbearers being, Joseph Cox, Jack lee, Jack Cleary, Arthur Donnelly, Daniel McPherson, and Martin Mulhearn.
