HADFIELD, Anne MACKenzie (nee Luttrell) - Anne passed away peacefully after a courageous struggle, surrounded by her family, at St. Joseph's Health Centre, Guelph, on Saturday, January 12, 2013, at the age of 75. She was the beloved wife of Brian Hadfield and loving mother of Blair and his wife Dorothy, and Susan and her husband David Brix. Dear Gramma of Tori, Brandon and Cameron Hadfield; and Drew and Sarah Brix. Anne was a retired teacher, founding member and Past President of PEO, Chapter L. She was an avid boater and traveller spending many winters in Florida. Thank you to the staff of St. Joseph's Health Centre, Dr. Kennedy and Dr. Hollinger for their care and support. Also a thank you to the many personal care givers and support workers. A special thank you to Joan Huchuk for her friendship and support. The family will receive friends at the Gilbert MACIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, on Tuesday, January, 15, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 11 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Joseph's Health Centre or the Canadian Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
