      SHAW, Donald Phelps - 1918 - 2010 - It is with sadness that the family of Donald Shaw announce his passing on March 7, 2010. Donald was predeceased by his wife Patricia in 1998. He is survived by his sister G. Eleanor Shaw and daughters Marilyn Walker (St. Catharines), Donna Nunn (London), and Susan Bausch (Mississauga). He is also survived by three sons-in-law: Norris Walker, Barry Nunn and Michael Bausch as well as 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Donald will also be sadly missed by his good friends John and Sara Janz, Sheila Mathews, Mary Margaret Murphy and Eugene Gillies who have helped him enormously during the past few years. Donald was a Past President of the St. Catharines Chamber of Commerce, The Rotary Club of St. Catharines, and a director of the Rexall Drug Company, the Community Concert Association and the Shaw Theatre. He was also a member of the After Five Club and the Downtown Merchants' Association. Donald was a graduate of the School of Pharmacy at University of Toronto, graduating in 1941. He was the owner of the long established Potter and Shaw drugstores which also included the Crown Pharmacy, having taken over from his father in 1950 and retired after 40+ years. Donald was a highly respected long time resident of the Ina Grafton Gage Village known for his good humour and wisdom. He will be fondly remembered by his numerous friends in the Village who admired his caring, calm and gentle ways. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to the Rotary Club of St. Catharines. Family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL at 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines, L2M 4Y1 Tuesday, March 9, 2010 3 - 6 p.m. Memorial service will be held at Ina Grafton Gage Home at 413 Linwell Street, St. Catharines on Thursday, March 11 at 7 p.m
