• Genealogical Notes

  10 years after he arrived in Mara, Robert sought work on a schooner, which later was wrecked outside of Buffalo, New York, USA-- Robert perished with his mates. He was buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery, in Buffalo, a year later his brother John returned the body to Uptergrove, for burial in the Knox Prestyterian Cemetery.
