Mrs. Thos. Worrell
Dies at Home in Waterville August 28
"Elizabeth MacDonald Werrell wa born June 21, 1865 at New Ireland Albert County New Brunswick Canada, here father was the late Angus J. MacDonald and her mother Elizabeth MacDonald. She was married to Thomas Worrell in 1888, five children were born three of whom with her husband survive. They are William, Angus, and Ray. She is also survived by three brothers and a sister, John of Wabasha, Minn and Dan Alex and Kate of Wallace, Idaho. Her step father (father-in-law??) Wm Werrell and three step-sisters Mrs. John A. Rayburn of Eau Galle Mrs. jos. Webb of Waterville, and Mrs. Frank Gilmore of this city also deeply mourn her departure. She lived on the Werrell family farm in Bear Creek for three years and then moved to a farm near Eau Galle where she lived some 12 years when they moved to a farm they bought in the town of Waterville where on the 28th of August last, she passed to her rest.
Reared in the Catholic faith, she ever remained a true daughter of the church and showed by her life that she believed in and followed the example of her Savior. After much suffering she succumbed to a consitutional ailment much to the grief of her sorrowing family. The great love in which she was held was evidenced by the large number of her friends who attended the funeral services at Eau Galle on Monday last conduced by Rev. A. Miller. An earnest faithful friend and loving wife, and moreht she is greatly regretted by her many friends."
