      Ruth Jordan, age 75, life-long resident of Hayward, died Wednesday evening.
      She was born Nov 27, 1898 at Hayward, where she attended school. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
      Surviving are her twin sister, Esther of Hayward, and another sister, Mrs. Leona Houge of St. Paul; her brother, John Jordan of Baraboo, WI, nieces and nephews.
      Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon, 2:00 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Hayward, Rev. Father Edward Theiler officiating at the Mass. Interment will be in the family lot, Greenwood cemetery. Recitation of the Rosary was Friday evening, 8:15 pm, the Koerpel Funeral Chapel. Visitation was Friday afternoon and evening at the Koerpel Funeral Home.
      Serving as casket bearers were Walter Duffy, Frank Duffy, Edward Barnash, Walter Barnash, George Gorney and Leon Pastika.
