      "James M. Rayburn, an old and respected citizen of Eau Galle, died at the home of his sister in Menomonie. The funeral services were held Monday, Rev. Father Steinhauser officiating."

      Obituary:
      James Rayburn
      "James Rayburn, a successful farmer for many years; well-known in southwestern Dunn County, died Saturday July 17 in this city, at the home of his sister, Mrs. Thomas Worrell.
      Mr. Rayburn was born in Niles, Michigan February 6, 1853, and moved to this part of the country with his parents, settling on a farm at Eaterville, Pierce County. Here he made his home, having charge of the farm until it was sold a few years ago. Last fall he came to this city with his sister when she and her husband moved here and this was his home until the time of his death. The deceased had been suffering with heeart disease for some time and his death came suddenly.
      He is survived by seven sisters and one brother. They are: Mrs. Dave Taylor and Miss Elizabeth Meehan of Eau Galle, Mrs. John Sullivan of Washburn, Mrs. Thomas Jordan and Mrs. Hugh Duffy and John Rayburn of Hayward, Mrs. Agnes Goodrich of Ladysmith and Mrs. Thomas Worrell of this city.
      All of the relatives were present at the funeral except Mrs. Duffy of Hayward. A nephew, Walter Duffy of Hayward, was also present.
      The funeral services were held at St. Henry's Catholic Church in Eau Galle, Monday July 19, Rev. Father Joseph Steinhouser officiating. Interment was made in the Eau Galle cemetery."
