Frozen to Death--"A Well Known Ashland County Resident Died from Cold and Exposure"
Pat Corrigan, a well-known resident of Mineral Lake, which is near Highbridge, was found frozen to death this morning within 80 rods of his home. He has been missing since Friday night and a thorough search resulted in finding his body only a short distance from his home. It is supposed that while attending to work in the woods he was chilled and in starting for his home gradually became benumbed and fell exhausted just before he reached his home where warmth and comfort awaited him.
Mr. Corrigan was well-known in Ashland being a relative of the Firemich boys and a brother of Thomas Corrigan of Sanborn.
