PAY HEAVY FINES
Two Bibon "Blind Pig" conductors hauled up and court deals severely with them.
Michael Corrigan and WD White, of Bibon, were arrested last Saturday adn charged with selling intoxicating liquoir in the town of Mason without a license. Corrigan plead guilty and paid fine and costs amounting to $122. White entered a plea of not guilty and went on the stand and testified that the beverage he was dispensing was what he called "Gold Foam"--a strictly non-intoxicating drink. A sample bottle of the liquid was produced in court and witnesses for the state testified that it was nothing more than lager beer. He was bound guilty and as this was his second conviction upon a similar charge the court imposed a fine of $100 and costs, and sentenced White to 6 months imprisonment in the county jail.
