Jan. 26, 1933- front page.-- LATE MARY AGNES LONG- After being in poor health for the past eight years from heart trouble, the last month of which was spent in bed, Mary Agnes Long, beloved wife of Hugh Vincent Corrigan, of Uxbridge, passed away at her home on Sunday, January 22, 1933, in her 59th year. The funeral took place to St. Columbkille's Cemetery, Uptergrove, on Wed.Jan. 25, 1933. Mass being celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, Uxbridge by Father Woods and Father James. Father Spratt was also present.
The late Mary Agnes Long was born in New York City, May 2, 1875, a daughter of the late Patrick and Ellen Long. On July 8th 1903 she married Hugh Vincent Corrigan in New York and in 1905 they moved to Uptergrove where Mr. Corrigan worked on the section until 1920 when they moved to Uxbridge and have since resided.
To the union were born two sons; John Corrigan, CSB, of St. Michael's College, Toronto; Michael of Uxbridge; and two daughters; Catherine R.N. of Toronto. and Mrs. Jos. Farrar, of Toronto. Two brothers Walter and Michael, and one sister, Mrs. Patrick Galvin, all of New York City also survive, to whom with her sorrowing husband the sympathy of all is extended in their loss of a kind and loving wife and mother.
