      Mrs. Mary Duffy, 84, Dies Suddenly Saturday.
      Mrs. Mary Duffy, 84, 1420 John Avenue, died suddenly at her home Saturday. She was born in Orillia, Ont., January 9, 1862 and had been a Superior resident for 26 years.
      Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Joseph Gottbreht, Duluth, Mrs George R. O'Brien, Superior, and Mrs. Frank Busse, Chicago; three sons, Jarvis, St. Paul, Ernest, Chicago, and Frank, San Diego, Calif; one brother and two sisters living in Canada; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
      Funeral services will be held Tuesday 9am at the Cathedral of Christ the King with the Rev. Fr. John Behen officiating at a requiem high mass. Burial will be in the family lot in the Lake Nebagamon cemetery.
      There will be a recitation of the rosary Monday 8:30 pm at the Lenroot-Maetzold funeral home.
      Pallbearers will be Peter L. McCorkell, Leo O. McCorkell, Frank J. O'Brien, Paul G. Mason, Robert T. MacGregor, and William A. Fiandt.

      Mrs. Mary Duffy Called
      Mrs. Mary Duffy, aged 84 years, former resident of Bayfield and Lake Nebegamon, but who has made her home in Superior for the past 26 years, died suddenly in her home last Saturday. She was born in Orillia, Ont. on Jan. 9, 1862.
      Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Joseph Gottbreht, Suluth; Mrs. George R. O'Brien, Superior; Mrs. Frank Busse, Chicago; three sons, Jarvis of St. Paul, Ernest of Chicago, and Frank of San Diego, California; one brother and two sisters living in Canada; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
      Funeral services were held Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the Cathedral of Christ the King with Rev. John Bobeo officiating at a requiem high mass and interment is in the family lot in the Lake Nebagamon cemetery.
      Mrs. Duffy had been quite a frequent visitor in this city and had many friendships here.
