Henry Addington Bruce (1874- 1959) was a Canadian born author and newspaper journalist who graduated from the University of Toronto and attended Harvard University.He specialised in psychial research and wrote extensively on this subject with works such as "Adventurings in the Psychial (1914),Riddle of Personality (1908) and Psychology and Parenthood (1915).sources:-Bruce;H.Addington "Baseball and the National Life" Outlook,May 1913,104-107)
At the age of 44 Henry enlisted for W.W.I.He registered on September 12 1918 at Cambridge,Mass.At this time he was an Author and Editor for Associated Newspapers of 170 Broadway,New York.
Henry is buried in the Bowes family Plot 448 Rock Ave.,Walnut Hills Cemetery.

Bruce,aged 45 and there were no children. In January 1920 Henry A Bruce 45, his wife Loretta 46, mother-in-law Mary 1. Bowes,80, and one servant lived at 2 Reidesel Ave., Cambridge Lauretta bruce was of the same address at her 1941 death
