Mary Isobel O'connell
O'CONNELL, Mary Isobel - peacefully at Oak Terrace, Orillia on Monday, January 25th, 2010; at the age of 90. Mary O'Connell, born January 12, 1920, the daughter of the late Charles & Mary (Minnie) Duffy. Predeceased by her husbands John Dennis O'Connell and James Cosgrove. Loving mother of Mary C. Lorn (late Robert), C. Daivd Cosgrove, Paul Cosgrove (Julia) and Susan E. MacMillan (late Glenn). Dear Nana of 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchldren. Predeceased by brothers Bernard & John Duffy and sister Stella McInerney. Mary fought long & hard for enviromental rights in Simcoe County. Much appreciation to the staff at Oak Terrace for their loving care. The late Mrs. Mary O'Connell will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St., N., Orillia on Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 P.M. Then to St. Columbkille's Church, Uptergrove for Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday morning, January 27th at 11 o'clock. Interment: St. Columbkille's Cemetery, Uptergrove, Ontario. Parish Prayers will be said in the parlours Tuesday evening at 6:45 P.M. If desired, Memorial Donations to the charity of your choice would be gratefully appreciated.
