      SUPERIOR GIRL BECOMES BRIDE
      Miss Eva Somerville Married to Hayward Man at Pretty Church Affair
      "At a pretty church wedding which took place this morning at nine o'clock, Miss Eva Somerville, daughter of Mrs. Alice Somerville, 2002 Ohio Avenue became the bride of Walter J. Duffy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Duffy of Hayward. The ceremony was performed at St. Patrick's church, Billings Park by Rev. JM Markey.
      Miss Somerville's only attendant was her sister, Miss Pearl Somerville who wore a dainty dress of peach colored silk and carried a bouquet of shell pink ophelia roses tied with pink ribbon. Sherman E. Murray of Washburn attended the groom.
      The bride was charmingly gowned in white charmeuse satin with ornaments of rhinestone about the neck, sleeves, and forming a design for the dress. Her veil, which was caught about the head and forming a train was of lace. She carried a shower bouquet of white Killarney roses and lilies of the valley.
      Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home for the bride's mother for members of the family and a few intimate friends. The color scheme of pink and white was carried out throughout the home by large baskets and vases of pink and white asters.
      Mr. and Mrs. Duffy left on a motor trip through southern Wisconsin en route they will stop at Oshkosh and New London and will be at home at Hayward after October 15.
      Mrs. Duffy wore a dark blue suit of tricotine with box coat and a small hat of sand colored silk velvet upon taking her departure.
      The out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Duffy, parents of the groom, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pastika, Hayward; Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Worhl, Eau Claire, Oscar Lindholm, Hayward, Sherman Murray, Washburn.
      Mrs. Duffy is a graduate of Superior Normal and has taught for the last three years in the Douglas County schools. Mr. Duffy is the Register of Deeds of Sawyer County.
      Among the parties given for Miss Somerville was a miscellaneous shower at the home of her sister, Mrs. D. Boyle. Several guests were present. Red and white decorations were used attractively about the room.
