    • EDWARDS, Roy : regimental number 643876, enlisted in the 157th(Simcoe Foresters) Battalion, January 26, 1916, the same day as his twin brother Percy. He was 19, a Machinist, living in Orillia. He married Ada Bell of Hamilton/Toronto, in April 1916. Born in Washago, his family resided in Rama (Longford) Front Range , lot 23, a son of Edward Edwards & Alice Belinda Howe. Records indicate he had severed 3 years in the US Army, (Calvary.)
      His brother Percy was K.I.A. Sept. 15, 1916, his brother Ernest also served in the CEF.
